Mattie is an experienced family law lawyer and mediator that provides strategic legal advice and result-focused service. Mattie takes pride in advancing her clients’ goals in uncertain times by negotiating collaboratively to reach the best possible outcome and by taking cases to court when necessary.

She has dealt with a broad range of complex and high conflict family matters, and has represented clients at all levels of court including the BC Court of Appeal, BC Supreme Court and the BC Provincial Court. She has also represented clients in mediations and collaborative settlement meetings outside of court in order to achieve the most sensible outcome tailored to every unique circumstance.

Mattie is a diligent thinker with a diverse background. She is fluent in English, Farsi and Norwegian. She strives to provide sensible and strategic advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances while understanding that her clients are navigating some of the most uncertain times and transitions in their lives.

When Mattie is not focusing on her clients, she enjoys the outdoor hiking trails in the North Shore Mountains, traveling, and spending time with her family.
